Thank you for praying… this is Sherry. Kaeli and I had gone up to Peyi Pouri to arrange the new house we are building for poor Mr. Oske and his children, but while we were up there a huge Haitian truck full of people (machanns) was coming down the mountain… the frame of the truck was not securely fastened to the truck, so while it was coming down the mountain fully loaded with people, the top of the truck slid off the frame! The truck part went over the side of the mountain killing people. Some people were still alive, and the Haitians climbed down to get them and carry them “up.” At that time, someone called our Jesus Healing Center, and one of our drivers, Ezekiel, took our ambulance and went up to get as many people as he could.

He said he could only carry three because they had to “lay down” in the back. One motorcycle took one person. We don’t know how many died, but we rescued three. Thank you all for praying. It is a very dangerous trip up and down. We will make another trip up on Thursday in order to move the family in. Sherry
