Feeding Another Orphanage

We share food with “many” organizations once a month. Their representatives come from different areas in Haiti and often have to take their lives into their hands due to the gangs on the streets. We not only share food, but some organizations have clinics and need medicine, some need clothing. We share what we have with each organization.

These little cuties are from Orphelinat Chretien de Leogane, Pastor Jean Claude. Having an orphanage in Haiti is quite a big load to carry. You “never know where the food is coming from,” or “if the food can make it to Haiti, to the port.” Many lives depend on it.

We are so thankful for our partners, like Joyce Meyer MinistriesHand of Hope, who sponsors a food container each month. There are 272,000 meals in each container, which can feed a lot of hungry children. Children who are frail and malnourished cannot eat a lot at a time. Children who have been in a program or are doing better can eat more. This food is extremely nourishing so that any amount will be full of vitamins, minerals, protein…and much more! The children call it “ti pa nou,” which means “a little for us.”

May God richly bless each partner who gives large or small or a widow’s mite. The Lord sees every single sacrifice, and He sees the heart of the gift! We feel so very blessed to have friends like Joyce Meyer Ministries – Hand of Hope and all of you. It takes us eight to nine containers of food each month to be able to feed all the villages where we work.

From each and every child in Haiti, thank you with all our hearts!!!
