The first two pictures are some of the pregnant mothers coming for pre-and post-natal care. We’ve had well over a thousand babies born. Plus, we’ve taken around 300 mothers in our ambulance at no cost to hospitals for emergency care. So many of the mothers are malnourished and not in good health.
I’ve seen so many babies born right there on the ground. I told Sherry we had to do something to help these poor mothers. With your help, we did it together! Thank you to our Administrator, Mr. Nixon, and our head doctor, Doctor Nadia.
Urgent: Please pray for Dr. Nadia. Four days ago, while coming to work, she had a terrible motorcycle accident. Many Haitians pay people who have motorcycles to take them places because it is cheaper. One leg is all torn up, broken, and ripped; it’s very bad. Please pray for her. You can see why we are building the staff medical housing for the medical staff to stay on the compound all week; it’s much safer.
Malnutrition Center:
The bottom two pictures are some of the outpatient mothers bringing their babies to be weighed and measured. We have 33 outpatient mothers, and it’s growing every day. Thank you, Joyce Meyer – Hand of Hope, for supplying the funds to build and furnish the Malnutrition Center!
Love is something you do…
