The Balsbaugh Family here in Haiti: 9-27-2015 8:00 AM

We are so thankful for the Balsbaugh family who are missionaries with us here in Haiti. The mother, Maxine, has been working in the Malnutrition Clinic with her daughters Allison and Megan. The father, David, works with the Chicken Co-op and other sustainability projects. This family of seven needs a vehicle in Haiti. If you would like to donate a vehicle for the Balsbaugh family, please contact our Love A Child office at 239-210-6107. God bless you, Sherry

“The Lord will give strength unto his people; the Lord will bless his people with peace.” Psalm 29:11 — We couldn’t do the things that we do here in Haiti without the strength and peace that the Lord gives us every day. Walk in God’s strength and peace today. God bless you! Bobby and Sherry

Kaeli with LAC Orphans: 9-26-2015 11:00 AM

It takes a lot of patience when you have a big orphanage in Haiti. Kaeli, one of our young missionaries, helps us with projects for the orphanage children, such as coloring and crafts!! All Haitian children have a natural talent for art. Many of our sponsors, who are in our Child Sponsorship program, will be receiving a beautiful drawing from their sponsored child, whether at the orphanage or those who live in the mountains! God bless you and thank you partners! Sherry

Sharing our food: 9-26-2015 8:00 AM

The poor school children in the mountains of Haiti usually only get “coffee with sugar” before they leave their huts to start the long walk to school each day. It is important to feed them at school or they cannot learn. We share our food with Pastor Genada each month, so that he can feed these children. We also share with many other missionaries. Thank you partners! Bobby and Sherry

Wilner – 09-17-15

You may remember this young guy, he is Wilner and his nickname is “Pistache,” which means peanut. We found Wilner while conducting a Mobile Medical Clinic in the village of La Vallee. His father had died and his mother could not take care of him. Wilner was severely malnourished and very sickly. When we found him, we thought he was about seven or eight years old, but he was really fifteen-years-old. His growth was stunted because of poor nutrition for so long. He likes to play soccer, go to church and help us with chores around Love A Child Village. Thank you partners for helping us save another life. Love, Bobby and Sherry

Helping those who take in orphans: 9-25-2015 4:30 PM

One of our most important outreaches in Haiti is distributing food to mothers who struggle to provide meals for their children. We also provide food for children who have lost their parents due to tragedies. This photo is from a group called “Association of Women.” The Association of Women in Haiti has taken in many children who have been orphaned, and they now raise them in their own families. We share our food with them each month. Thank you partners for making this possible. Sherry
