Here is a message from Rad Hazelip, our Love A Child Assistant Executive Director. “The unique co-op project called Poul Mirak celebrates its first year of operation. This project is a great success. It has operated profitably since it began. These five men have not only learned a valuable trade, but also how to run a successful business raising Poul Mirak chickens. This successful new business has been providing nearly 500 fresh chickens per week to the local Haitians’ diet for the past year. We thank Mike Welch, Larry Guest and Pete Roberts of Harrison Poultry for their sponsorship and mentoring to make this project a success.”

Feeding hungry children is what we are all about! God bless you Pastor Chenet for your wonderful work. We love partnering with you! We have recently reached out to two needy areas of Haiti. Sa-pa-te, where the entire village makes dirt cookies to sell and eat, and the other is a large garbage dump in Haiti. We are asking for your prayers for wisdom and favor to make this happen. Sharing our Food… “Is it not to deal thy bread to the hungry, and that thou bring the poor that are cast out to thy house?” Isaiah 58:7 — God bless all of our friends who help us feed hungry children in Haiti. This food is donated to us by Feed My Starving Children. Our Love A Child partners help pay for this food to be shipped all the way to Haiti and through Haitian customs. We share our food with 73 other organizations that love the children of Haiti as we do, such as Lance at “Hope in the Light” Ministry. It takes “all of us working together” to do this. “I will praise the Lord, who counsels me; even at night my heart instructs me.” Psalm 16:7 – I can’t tell you the number of times the Lord has awakened me in the middle of the night with a word of instruction or encouragement. You may remember Miliana from the village of Madamn Bauje, she was sitting in the dirt, and chewing on her arm when we first saw her. She was pitiful, had a horrible skin infection and was severely malnourished. Miliana didn’t cry or even look up at us because she was so weak. We could not leave her in that village so we brought her to the orphanage. Miliana has received hot delicious meals, medical care for her skin infection and lots of love. Now, she smiles, goes to school and loves playing with her siblings. We thank our partners for changing Miliana’s life. God bless you, Bobby and Sherry

We welcome the David Balsbaugh missionary family who are joining us here at Love A Child in Haiti. We are also blessed to have with us Mark Ostrander, one of our Board of Directors, David George from Atlanta, GA, and Rad Hazelip, the Assistant Executive Director of Love A Child. “Through the praise of children and infants you have established a stronghold against your enemies, to silence the foe and the avenger.” Psalm 8:2 – We wish you could hear the way our orphanage children sing praises to the Lord. It’s so beautiful. And according to this scripture, it is a powerful force against the enemy. Remember to always give our great God praise, especially in the middle of a great trial. Education changes the lives of children here in Haiti. It gives them more than a “hand-out,” EDUCATION gives children dignity with a “hand-up!” Many of our own children from our Love A Child Orphanage are growing up, going to school, and some are going to universities for more education. This morning David George and I dedicated Pastor Claude’s new two-story school in La Tremblay, Haiti! Thank you David George and your partners for planting a seed in this school. By faith, we are going to try and raise as much money as possible so that they can pay their teachers, and all the other expenses. Faith doesn’t know we don’t have the money! Bobby
