We were blessed to have the Max Care Prosthetic Team come to Miracle Village to fit amputees with new legs recently.  Children like “Valdine” and many adults were injured and required amputations as a result of the 2010 earthquake in Haiti.  Now, many have to be refitted with new or larger legs.  God bless Mark and Kelli Haines, James Goff, Katherine Richmond and Steven Truex who all came to serve! It is haircut day at our Love A Child Orphanage. Haitians call this style “tet kale” meaning “bald or smooth head.” Sherry

Sherry and I have made over 400 trips to Haiti after our first one in 1971. On July 1st, 1991, Sherry and I moved to Haiti as full time missionaries, by faith.  The children and people here in Haiti have stolen our hearts.  Love is something you do.  Bobby and Sherry

(Continued from yesterday morning.)  In the beginning of our ministry, I fasted, drank only water, and prayed for 21 straight days while staying in an old rat shack.  At the end of my fast, the Lord supernaturally spoke eight words to me that changed my life forever.  I live by these eight words every day of my life.  Sherry told me this morning that I could not share these words with you, and that you must wait for the release of our book called “The Rat Shack.”  Bobby

Thank you for all of your prayers. The Lord has supplied the money for a badly needed diesel long bed truck with heavy-duty springs to carry all the food, clothes and medicine within the Dominican Republic. This is a great blessing for children in the sugarcane camps and to the Dominicans! Carlos had tears of joy today! Bobby
