When poor, pregnant mothers come to our Birthing Center, they always leave with a “gift.”

Their most priceless gift is a baby, but it is sometimes a gift for their baby. A blanket, onesie, or something else. We also take a picture of them with their new baby!!!

Sometimes, our friends, like Patricia, make handbags for the mothers. This is a beautiful gift, and the mothers really appreciate everything so much!

But, the best gift we can give them is “love!” A gentle touch, a hug, or a prayer goes a long way. Thank you, Patricia, and all our partners who send in birthing bags and other gifts for the Haitian mothers!!!
