Samuel Orel is now 18. We were conducting a Mobile Clinic in the mountains of Demesseau. A very poor man came up to us as we were preparing to leave the mountains. Our team gathered around to hear this father’s story… he held a baby, Samuel, in his arms as he spoke about losing his wife in childbirth and having 6 children at home.

This father was different. Tears were rolling down his face. He was in agony. We told him we would take the baby and we left for our orphanage. We called him Samuel. Today, this young man is respectful, hard-working, and kind. His job is “the painting team” (our schools and buildings, etc.) but he loves music and soccer! He is very good on the drums! He wants to be an electrical engineer! Right now, I am teaching him English as we wants to learn! We love Samuel very much! God has a great plan for his life.
