Special thanks to Faith Church.

Again, we want to say a special thanks to Pastor David Crank of “Faith Church.” They raised funds to buy us a wonderful ambulance, a Toyota Land Cruiser. We have had this ambulance in operation for three years now, running between many hospitals for emergencies. Our Love A Child clinic is open Monday through Friday. Yesterday, Sunday, a bad accident happened, so, thankfully, nurses and midwives were working in our Birthing Center to help 52-year-old Mr. Etienne.

He works for V & F Construction. (These are the wonderful people that just laid our “pavers.”) Since there were pavers leftover, very heavy pavers, Mr. Etienne was sent to pick them up. As he was throwing these “extremely heavy pavers” inside the truck, the back door closed on his left arm so bad, that it broke his arm and knocked him out! Nixon got ahold of those working in our Birthing Center! Our nurses and midwives worked hard to stabilize his arm, give him pain medication, and then our ambulance rushed him to a hospital. (They had to go to three hospitals before they found one that would accept him!)

We are so thankful to our nurses and midwives and so thankful to Faith Church for this ambulance!!!
