We teach all the children at our Love A Child Children’s Home that they are the future of Haiti. Their lives have been placed in our hands, and it is a “big responsibility” to make sure they receive Christian training and can go to a university to fulfill their dreams.

We first saw Roselyne when we had a Mobile Medical Clinic in the mountains of Lastik. Her father brought her to us with “really bad crooked legs.” The doctors could not do anything for her, but amazingly as she grew, her legs straightened out. She just remained with us because her parents were so poor and could not afford to send her to school or care for her.

Roselyne has a great desire to be a doctor and help people. She volunteers at the Jesus Healing Center, and everyone loves her! The doctors and nurses are teaching her many things, while she is waiting for college to start so that she can attend.

We teach the children that they are the future of Haiti… They must be kind, learn to give back, care for the poor, and help anyone in need. They are already looking forward to “sharing Christmas with poor, poor children in Haiti.”

We are proud of Roselyne! She is obedient, kind, loves the Lord and is a great cook!!! We love all of our children, of course, but each one has a “special place” in our hearts! Sherry
