It’s Memorial Day, but “the work still goes on at Love A Child.” Today, Jesse Ostrander will be coming in to work on several projects, along with Bryan Ray. Although we are not bringing in mission teams right now, these people are “mission-critical.”

Jesse, Bryan, and our Haitian work team will be working on our new Love A Child office. This building used to be our “Jesus Healing Center,” but it was way too small for the number of patients we saw. After finishing up the new “Jesus Healing Center,” we began working on our “Clinic Staff Dormitory,” right next to the Jesus Healing Center. Most of our good medical workers come from areas in Haiti, where you must cross the “danger zone” to get back and forth. Some of our medical staff travel three to four hours to come here, so it makes good sense to have them staying here at Love A Child and ready to work at 7:00 am.

Jesse and the team are working hard on the Clinic Staff Dormitory.  In addition to this, we committed a while back to build three more houses in Miracle Village. So, they will be working on that too. And just think, each time we hire “one Haitian worker,” he feeds, on average, ten people daily! It’s a “win, win!” God bless you and thank you, partners!
