Jackson is doing well for a young teenage boy who is on dialysis every night! We met Jackson while conducting a Mobile Medical Clinic in the mountains of Savaan Pit, Haiti. He had such severe Kwashiorkor malnutrition that his belly was swollen and huge. His face, hands, and feet were swollen. After a year of trying to get him to the right Haitian doctor, we saw that things went from bad to worse. He had severe kidney problems!

We took him across the border to the Dominican Republic to see a pediatric doctor that specializes in dialysis for children. They put Jackson on a very strict diet and said that he would have to have dialysis every night from 7:00 p.m. to 7:00 a.m. We needed a miracle because that meant that we would have to “buy” a pediatric dialysis machine for Jackson!! But the Lord worked a miracle and spoke to someone’s heart to buy the machine!

Jackson is doing well. He still must make trips back and forth to the doctor, but he is thankful to be alive! He wants to be a doctor! Thank you for “not giving up” on Jackson! Jackson is thankful to have friends like you!
