Working for Love A Child

Kidney is one of our older Love A Child children that was in college in Port-au-Prince. You may remember that four of our older children were kidnapped in December and held captive for two weeks. By a miracle, they were released! PTL! The rest of the older children tried to stay in Port-au-Prince amid gunfire and blocked streets. It became so dangerous that we had to bring them back here to Love A Child. We have put them all to work here until the streets are safe.

Kidney was studying communications, so he went back to work at our Love A Child Radio Station. When Kidney was born, his mother died, and his father could not take care of him. He stayed with relatives, who were also poor, but they could not feed him. When he arrived, he had signs of malnutrition, but he quickly recovered.

Kidney is very, very intelligent and responsible. If you give him a job, he will do it and do it well! We pray that things in Haiti will be better, and we will believe they will, so children like Kidney can return to their college, graduate, and make Haiti a better place to live! Thank you, dear Partners, for everything you have done!
