This little fellow was brought to us from the mountains near the village Peyi Pouri, Haiti. His father deserted him, and his mother died. A neighbor lady, who has eight children, took him in. When I saw “Wadson,” my heart broke. I thought he was about 12 months old, so I picked him up. I could feel all of his ribs and every bone in his body. I believe he has Kwashiorkor malnutrition and maybe other problems. We first treated him at our Jesus Healing Center, but because our Malnutrition Clinic is closed temporarily, we had to send him to the children’s hospital. However, the lady who had been keeping him could not stay at the hospital with him. She had to return to her children, so we had to pay a lady from Peyi Pouri to come down and stay a week at a time and then another lady will take her place. We must keep someone there at the hospital, taking care of Wadson and any needs he has. And oh yes, we found out that he is three… poor baby.

This is what breaks my heart. Haiti is so much worse off than all of the countries where the illegal immigrants are coming from… Yes, the illegals are poor and need jobs. That is true. But little Haiti is in critical need. Gangs control every area of Haiti. We could be shot at any time. Parents cannot provide food for their children. It was bad enough before all of the political violence. They cannot survive in the condition they are in. I’m asking you all to pray… “God, send help to Haiti.” Sherry
