Dumolia came to us at the age of three. She had been badly burned when a large cooking pot full of boiling water fell on her. It melted her skin from her neck down to her waist. We sent her back and forth to the Shriners Hospitals for Children — Boston for many years.

She completed all of her high school in the States except for her last year, which she completed at a U. S. Missionary High School here in Haiti; so, her English is perfect, but she knows little French and cannot attend a college in Haiti.

Instead, she is enlisted in an English-speaking college in Italy. She had gone through a lot to enter this college, and we are waiting for her Visa. While she is here with us, she volunteers at our Birthing Center and our Malnutrition Center. We are so proud of her and pray that she gets her Visa soon!
