“There is that scattereth, and yet increaseth; and there is that withholdeth more than is meet, but it tendeth to poverty. The liberal soul shall be made fat: and he that watereth shall be watered also himself.” Proverbs 11:24-25 – Do you ever wonder how some people just seem to be blessed, everywhere they go and everything they touch seems to prosper? The more we give away, the more that “comes back to us.” Let’s never, never be a “stingy Christian!” This is the first thing we teach missionaries…“give out of your need!” It works! Have a good day and go around “scattering” what God has blessed you with! Bobby and Sherry
Feeding the hungry in Sapaterre: 2-8-16 8:00 AM
“The goodness of God leads men to repentance…” Romans 2:4 — In the 24 years of living and working here in Haiti, we have come to realize that “LOVE” is the greatest tool of evangelism that there is. We cannot look in the face of a mother with a dying child and say, “Go on your way…we will pray for you.” That must make God ashamed of us. However, when we feed the hungry, like those in the village that make and eat “mud cookies,” then we can preach the Gospel! Now, we are going to have a crusade in this village of Sapaterre, which begins on February 29th! “God, give us souls!” Bobby & Sherry
Word from the Mission Field – 02-08-16
1 Corinthians 13th chapter is the LOVE chapter. I want to encourage you to read the whole chapter today. The love of God is not selfish. We must love beyond ourselves, church congregations, outside our zip codes, and even our enemies. I have two enemies that I know of. I had to pray and ask God to bless them early this morning. Yes, it was difficult, but Love is something you do! Bobby
Feeding hungry children: 2-7-16 1:00 PM
What a contrast between happy children, who have good food to eat, and of those who have nothing or very little food to eat, like the children who eat dirt, mud, and small rocks. This is what we do. We “love the children of the poor” and we continue to add hungry children to our feeding programs. God bless you for “helping the poor!” Bobby and Sherry
Word from the Mission Field: 2-7-16 6:00 AM
“I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work.” John 9:4 — A lot of people ask Sherry and me, “Why do you do so much, getting involved in so many projects?” I tell them we work like this because it may be the last day we have upon this earth. Let’s work while it is day. We have no promise of tomorrow. Have a blessed Sunday. Bobby

“There shall no evil befall thee… For he shall give his angels charge over thee, to keep thee in all thy ways.” Psalms 91:10-11 — Today, we praise the Lord for giving Bobby and the construction team a safe trip home last night through the dangerous mountains. Jesse Ostrander, David George, Jay Price, Tim Martin, Nick, Carlos, Philemon and the Haitian construction workers are all tired, exhausted, and safe! We will have pictures later! “Praise the Lord!” Sherry
Update from Haiti – 02-05-16
I received another phone call from Bobby up in the mountains. They were going to leave Savaan Pit about 6:30 PM to start driving. It is very, very dangerous to drive those mountains at night! I have not heard anything more from Bobby and the construction team, but they are supposed to drive tonight. It will take them about three or four hours to get back here to Fond Parisian. We are asking everyone to pray for their safety. Sherry
Construction Team still in Savaan Pit: 2-5-16 4:15 PM
Bobby and David George’s construction team has not left the mountains of Savaan Pit yet! You can see the picture of the “old church,” and it was damaged even more than this from the last hurricane! Bobby and David George’s team is trying to finish the church before the team leaves to go back home tomorrow. They were supposed to leave the mountains at 4:00 PM, but I think they are staying until 6:00 PM. It is very dangerous to drive at night in the mountains. We ask for your prayers that they finish the church quickly and leave before dark. Sherry
New church for Savaan Pit: 2-5-16 11:00 AM
This week, Bobby, Jesse Ostrander, David George and his construction crew have been staying in the mountains of Savaan Pit building a new church! You can see the pictures of the “old and broken down church” here, but later this week we will have pictures of the new church going up! This church is a “candle in the middle of darkness” and it shines the light to many in the dark areas of the mountains, sharing the Gospel! We want to thank David George and his team for sponsoring this great work and all the Haitians who worked so hard, and also David George’s team who worked “day and night!” They will be coming down from the mountains late this evening! Whew! What a job but what a blessing this will be! Sherry

“What time I am afraid, I will trust in thee. In God I will praise his Word, in God I have put my trust; I will not fear what flesh can do unto me.” Psalms 56:3-4 – Living in these last end of time days, the hearts of men are full of fear. Our greatest trust is not in our government, but in the Lord our God. Sherry
