“Also I heard the voice of the Lord, saying, Whom shall I send, and who will go for us? Then said I, Here am I; send me.” Isaiah 6:8 – Let’s say to the Lord today, “Lord here I am, send me. I will go!” Let the Lord use your life today! Bobby

Update from ATC: 1-31-16 10:00 AM
Haiti is one of the most difficult places in the world to grow food. The people live on marginal lands in climates that are often very challenging when raising crops. The average Haitian subsistence farmer has very little land and it is usually rocky, on mountainsides, and acidic. One of the challenges the people face is improving the soil with what little resources they may have. At the Agriculture Training Center (ATC) this week, Wilner, our head trainer, is teaching farmers how to raise worms to turn manure and other waste products into viable fertilizer to improve their soils. The fertilizer is then mixed with bio-char made from agricultural waste, which helps neutralize the acidic soil. With some of these simple techniques, Haitian farmers are improving their livelihoods and have extra income to build God’s church. Your sacrifices to support programs like the ATC are furthering God’s Kingdom. Thank you from all of us at Love A Child! David Balsbaugh — Director of Agricultural Training Center
Word from the Mission Field: 1-31-16 6:00 AM
Have you ever been afraid to make a decision, or try something new, or even move to a new location? Are you afraid that things might go wrong when a change comes into your life? “Be strong and of a good courage; be not afraid, neither be thou dismayed: for the Lord thy God is with thee whithersoever thou goest.“ Joshua 1:9 — Don’t be afraid to “step out on the water.” Have a great day. Sherry

Word from the Mission Field: 1-30-16 6:00 AM
“And Jesus looking upon them saith, With men it is impossible, but not with God: for with God all things are possible.” Mark 10:27 — The Lord taught Sherry and me something a long time ago, we should do everything, which is possible, but let God do the impossible! What a partnership! Wow! Bobby
Betina: 9-5-2015
This is Betina, and she was born after the 2010 earthquake that destroyed so much of Port-au-Prince. She lived with her family in the nearby slums of Cite Soleil. Her mother and father could not provide enough food for Betina or the other children. As she grew older, each month there was less and less food for her family, so Betina was abandoned on the streets of the city. She was left alone on the streets to die, but God had a different plan for Betina! She was discovered by some very nice social workers that took her in and then notified us. She is a very lucky little girl who will now grow up at our Love a Child Orphanage with many siblings and lots of love. Another life saved! Blessings, Bobby and Sherry

Food and Clothing Distribution Delayed: 1-29-16 12:00 PM
We all left this morning to distribute food and new clothes to two different villages. We just got back to the warehouse, and we have not delivered the food or clothes. Have you ever had one of those days when everything goes wrong, then things start going downhill from there? This has been one of those missionary days here in Haiti. We will start all over at 3:00 PM! “When the devil starts messing, God starts blessing!” Bobby and Sherry
