We at Love A Child – “love the children of Haiti,” and our heart’s desire is to feed as many as we can this year. Haiti is the poorest country in the world now, and children here spend many nights with the pain of hunger. Let your heart be touched with the “cry of the poor.” Sherry
New Land in DR: 1-8-16 10:00 AM
Look at this land! The land is huge! This land has just been bought and paid for in Villa Hermosa, La Romano in the Dominican Republic! Thank you David and Angie George and your partners! By faith, we are wanting to build a Community Center on the land for all the many youth in the area…very much needed. Eighty percent of the residents are Haitian. “Faith doesn’t know we don’t have the money!” Bobby
Word from the Mission Field – 01-08-16
“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24 – Today belongs to the Lord! It doesn’t matter what we are facing or going through, the Lord is always with us. Let’s rejoice in this day, the victory is ours! Bobby
Feeding Children on Goat Mountain: 1-7-16 5:00 PM
Sherry, Rachael, Oriol, Philemon, Peter, Joseph and I went to Mal Forte up on Goat Mountain to feed starving children today. They have been so hungry. One of the greatest joys in the world is seeing the children enjoying their food down to the last grain of rice!! Love is something you do! Bobby
Food Distribution: 1-7-16 8:30 AM
This morning, Bobby and Sherry left for a Feeding Program at a place called Mon Kabrit (Goat Mountain). The road to this village is high and very dangerous but the children there are so hungry. Yesterday, they distributed food in Nacou, Mon Orig, Fond Parisien and at the city dump Truttier. Thank you to all our Love A Child partners on behalf of Bobby and Sherry.
Word from the Mission Field – 01-07-16
“For verily I say unto you, That whosoever shall say unto this mountain, Be thou removed, and be thou cast into the sea; and shall not doubt in his heart, but shall believe that those things which he saith shall come to pass; he shall have whatsoever he saith.” Mark 11:23 – Don’t tell God how big your mountain is…tell your mountain how big your God is! Have a great day! Sherry
Food Distribution in Truttier: 1-6-16 12:00 PM
Today, at the edge of the Port-au-Prince dump, we distributed food to 300 families who actually live inside the dump. We handed out food cards yesterday so that it would be organized. We had to have several police officers come help us keep control of this chaotic situation. Some of the children here have not eaten for two days. We saw unbelievable suffering today—especially with the children. Sadly, none of these children have ever been to school. Bobby and Sherry
Word from the Mission Field: 1-6-16 6:00 AM
“Blessed is he that considereth the poor: the Lord will deliver him in time of trouble…” Please read Psalms 41:1-3 today. Pray for us this morning, as we leave at 5:30 AM with 300 boxes of food to give 300 families who live inside the garbage dump of Port-au-Prince. Sometimes the children go two days without food. This food today will last 300 families for a month. Thank you for being part of this. Love is something you do. Bobby and Sherry
Feeding the poor – 01-05-16
Just look at the sweet faces of these poor children from Coram Deo and Karen Bultje. This group is one of the organizations that we share food with each month. Karen Bultje brings in teams to do surgeries on babies, and she needs to feed the families while everyone is waiting, and then, she sends food home with the families. Isn’t it great to partner together to bring smiles to these poor children? Thank you partners for helping sponsor food. If you would like to get involved in this food distribution, please contact our office at 239-210-6107 or give online now. God bless you. Bobby and Sherry

This is a message from David George in the Dominican Republic:
“Praise God!! As of today, Love A Child owns the land across from the new Love A Child Church in Villa Hermosa, La Romana, in the Dominican Republic. Of those living in this area, about 80 percent are poor Haitians. Bobby, Sherry, Angie, and I are so happy about this project!! Now we must believe God for a financial miracle to build a Christian Community Center to bless the precious children and young people of this area!! Carlos has been such a blessing with this project!!! God is so good!! Please help us pray for a miracle!!” David George
