Carlos and the volunteer team in the Dominican Republic just finished distributing food and toys at a center for children with special needs. Carlos said, “It was amazing! The kids had so much fun – it was incredible!” We thank David and Angie George for their support and help with our Dominican Republic work! Thank you so much! Bobby

This just came in from Carlos Silvestre. He and David and Angie George have all worked so very hard to bless the children living in the sugarcane camps. Thank you all so very much.

“Today at 10:30 we kicked off our Three Kings Day Toy Distribution at the center for children with special needs. Tonight we will have Movie Night at Batey #62 and the children will be so excited.”

Three Kings Day is when the Three Wise Men brought gifts to Jesus when he was born. The Latin community believes this day is when we should give children gifts in remembrance of this day.

“Be not afraid nor dismayed by reason of this great multitude; for the battle is not yours, but God’s.” 2 Chronicles 20:15 – Today, you may be facing a great battle…maybe the doctor’s report is not good, or maybe you have lost your job, or had someone break your heart, or a child went to prison, or have something else that is a great battle in your eyes. Give it to the Lord! He is on the front lines and “He has your back, too!” Start praising Him for the victory! Sherry

The children in Haiti, your neighbors, are still facing empty food bowls each day. They worry about how they will get food for their brothers and sisters. This breaks the heart of God and it should break yours too. Pray about sponsoring food to help feed these children, or come to Haiti on a mission team and let’s feed and care for the poor! Sherry

This is a portion of the crowd at our Love A Child for all faiths church this morning. It’s so Haitian to have a full church and only one car out front of the church. That’s my car!! Everyone walks to church, and for some it is a very long ways. Sherry is with some guests who showed up this morning. Bobby

Moses sent spies out to search the land — “And they brought up an evil report of the land which they had searched unto the children of Israel, saying, The land, through which we have gone to search it, is a land that eateth up the inhabitants thereof; and all the people that we saw in it are men of a great stature. And there we saw the giants, the sons of Anak, which come of the giants: and we were in our own sight as grasshoppers, and so we were in their sight.” Numbers 13:32 and 33 “And Caleb stilled the people before Moses, and said, Let us go up at once, and possess it; for we are well able to overcome it.” Numbers 13:30 — Some people can only see the giants in their lives, but the Lord is saying you can overcome, go in and possess every promise the Lord has made you and me!
