“Trust in the Lord with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding.” Proverbs 3:5 – For we walk by faith and not by sight or our own understanding. Let’s trust in the Lord, He will bring us through. Bobby
Florida Sinkhole Update 07-29-15
Florida Sinkhole Update: As most of you know, I had to leave Sherry in Haiti with the team from Faith Church. We have a sinkhole right now that is affecting our garage, which is connected to our house. It is unsafe to park in the garage right now, and it looks like we are not insured for sinkholes. I have to solve this problem quickly before it spreads to our house. We have an expert scheduled to come out tomorrow to take a look. I sure do miss Haiti, our Haitian children, Sherry and all of our staff. I love you and thank you for your prayers! Bobby
Word from the Mission Field – 07-29-15
In Luke 10:27-28, Jesus tells us about the “greatest commandment,” and includes “thou shalt love thy neighbor AS THYSELF.” Everything hangs on these scriptures. The children in these pictures are from a handicapped orphanage that we share our food with every month. This morning, approximately 70 organizations and orphanages from all over Haiti will be coming to get food that was donated by Feed My Starving Children. Our Love A Child partners sponsored the transportation costs to get the food all the way to Haiti. These children are “our” neighbors, and we should love them “as ourselves.” God bless Sylvie and her work at Orphelinat Joie de Vivre! Sherry
Florence and Yonel – 07-28-15
We are so proud of two of our children from our Love A Child Orphanage. Florence and Yonel have passed “Philo,” the highest grade in Haiti. It is very hard work and we are so proud of both of them. We have had Florence since she was a baby and her mother died. We have had Yonel since age seven when he had severe malnutrition and was expected to die. But God had a “bigger plan.” If you have ever thought about giving to a College Fund for children living in a third world country, this is it! Call our office at 239-210-6107 and find out more! Blessings, Sherry
Team Varnished School Desks 07-28-15
God bless our hard-working team from Faith Church! Today, they stained and varnished many school desks that will be going to the mountains of Haiti for the poor children in our schools there. Our mountain schools have so many kids that our director said they are standing in line, facing the same direction, and using each other’s backs as desks for their school exams! Now, they will have beautiful new school desks this fall! God bless you partners, and God bless Faith Church for sending this great team to Haiti! Sherry
Letant Mobile Medical Clinic 07-28-15
Yesterday we had a great Mobile Medical Clinic in Le Tant where 201 people were treated and 1,046 medications were distributed. We took care of 27 in wound care (one being a child who had fallen into boiling water), 25 teeth extractions, 19 fittings for eyeglasses, and 19 conversions. What a great team! Today, they are painting many school desks that will go to our mountain schools. God bless, Sherry

The Lord declared in Mark 9:23 – “If thou canst believe, all things are possible to him that believeth.” If we dare to believe the Lord, then all things are possible. We serve a big God, who has big plans and big promises. Bobby
Faith Church Mission Team – 07-27-15
Today we were blessed to have a mission team from Faith Church join us here in Haiti. David and Nicole Crank are the pastors of the church, and the team is great! We had a dentist, two nurses, a nurse practitioner and lots of help! Our own Love A Child kids also helped. Fabienne (who wants to be a dentist) worked in the dental area cleaning instruments. Dieuferly worked in the eyeglasses department. Julanne and many others helped too. It was a great day! We will have more information coming later. Sherry

In Mark 10:17, we see the story of the rich young ruler who came to Jesus asking, “Master, what shall I do that I may inherit eternal life?” The Bible said, “Then Jesus beholding him loved him.” There was something about him that “Jesus loved.” And when the rich young ruler finished spouting off everything he had done, according to the law, Jesus said, “One thing thou lackest: go thy way, sell whatsoever thou hast, and give to the poor, and thou shalt have treasure in heaven: and come, take up the cross, and follow me.” Mark 10:21 – And the rich young ruler went away “sad.” His possessions had “possessed him.” It’s not a sin to be rich, but God wants us to bless the poor with “our blessings.” Sherry
Faith Church Team – 07-26-15
We are hosting a Missions Team from Faith Church. The pastors of Faith Church are David and Nicole Crank. The team is preparing for a Mobile Medical Clinic here in Haiti and after that, they will help with some other work projects. They visited an orphanage here in Haiti that is run by Pastor Claude Mondesir. Faith Church provided a wonderful playground for the children at the orphanage. The team is busy packing medicine and getting ready for a big day tomorrow! God bless you. Bobby and Sherry
