Word from the Mission Field

“…and this is but a light thing in the eyes of the Lord…”  2 Kings 3:18 So, you think your problem is too big for our “big God”? You don’t know any way out? Maybe you think that God cannot do what He says He will do… This message is[…]

Blankies for Mommies!

Blankets given to the poor here in Haiti are like gold! Many of the families we work with in feeding programs or those who come to our Jesus Healing Center or Birthing Center live far away, high up in the mountains. Although it is hot here in Haiti, up in[…]

Growing by Faith

“Enlarge the place of thy tent, and let them stretch forth the curtains of thine habitations: spare not, lengthen thy cords, and strengthen thy stakes; For thou shalt break forth on the right hand and on the left…“ Isaiah 54: 2-3 That’s just what God commanded us to do: “enlarge the place of thy tent.“ Well, our “tent” (the old Jesus Healing Center) has become too small!  So, we are enlarging it by faith! We do not know what will happen in the future, but God sees the future. Perhaps He is preparing us for[…]

Word from the Mission Field

“My Sheep Know My Voice” The tenth chapter of the book of John verses 1-18 is all about the relationship between the shepherd and the sheep. “…and he calleth his own sheep by name, and leadeth them out. And when he putteth forth his own sheep, He goeth before them, and the sheep follow him: for they know his voice.“ John 10:3-4 We are all His sheep. All we must do is follow Him and listen to His voice. We heard an evangelist once who ministered from this chapter. He had gone to Israel and visited a shepherd with sheep. He said, “when the sheep would lay down, they would wait till the shepherd got up and then they got up. He called them and they followed him.”  He told the shepherd, “let me try that!” He tried and tried to get the sheep to follow him. Then, he tried calling them exactly[…]

Don’t Touch My Sister!

Daniel is in 9th grade and has a twin sister, Daniella. These two new babies were brought to us when their mother died while trying to reach the general hospital in January of 2004. There had been “problems on the street” and police stopped the mother from entering into the hospital to give birth. It turned out that she was pregnant with triplets…one of the babies did not make it. Both Daniel and Daniella were “very small,” but Daniel was the smallest. He looked like a “tiny little rat” for the longest time! We didn’t think he would make it, but he did. […]

Political Thievery in Haiti

There is nothing sweeter than little Haitian children having a big plate of food to eat, especially at this time, when famine is rampant in Haiti. In many areas of the country, Haiti is experiencing hunger and famine. This is partly caused by the effect of the coronavirus, but much of[…]

Please Pray for the Children of Haiti

Sherry and I were scheduled to leave this morning for our 150-miles three-day journey to bring food to a very poor area. When we go there, we feed 1,000 children six days a week a hot meal from our Feed My Starving Children food. We hire the cooks to do for six days a week because the children there are very hungry. We received word from Nelio, our director (who was born in the village,) that it’s much too dangerous to travel there today or anytime soon. Very hostile gangs have been taking over the area, shooting, robbing, and kidnapping…with no regard for human life. We were supposed to send our food truck there three days ago to take food but[…]

Word from the Mission Field

“This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it.” Psalm 118:24 It’s Wednesday morning, so let’s rejoice and be glad in it! The devil has already told some of you that you are going to have a bad day. No! This is[…]

Look How Far She’s Come!

This is Julia Jeannot, one of our older Love A Child kids. Julia and her sisters Yoland, and Florence, and her brother Frantzo, were all the next four children we took in, after the first set of four brothers and sisters. I had taken care of Julia‘s mother when she was sick but she later died. Julia‘s father was a poor man who lived up in the mountains. One day, he came to us and asked us to take in his four children. His wife had died and he could not care for them. When we took Julia in, she had very bad[…]

Stronger Together!

We just love sharing what God has blessed us with! We give food, not only to many poor villages, but to over 90 other organizations that help feed children, the elderly, and those in fragile conditions. These pictures just came in from Diddi, one of our friends at Mission Haiti Helping Kids. “One organization or mission” cannot do it all. It is too “overwhelming” to think about all the hungry children.[…]
