Praise Report!

𝐏𝐫𝐚𝐒𝐬𝐞 π‘πžπ©π¨π«π!

This year, when COVID-19 hit, the natural thing to do would have been to “stop every project!” In fact, we were warned by our office in the States to “halt everything until after the pandemic.” Everyone was worried about the money to continue these projects. That looked like wisdom, and we were willing to do that, but just then, God said, “Go forward! Press on! Do what I have put in your heart to do for the poor.” That was the release of “miracles!”

When the food slowed down from Feed My Starving Children due to COVID-19, the Lord met the need for us to buy “containers of rice” at the port in Haiti. We were also blessed to buy a container of black beans and “loads and loads” of fresh tilapia fish for our feeding programs! The Lord supplied the money this month for a semi-tractor to carry our containers of meals, without breaking down! It will be shipped to Haiti in January.

After that, we began to expand and increase, not decrease…

The Lord supplied the $175,000 to build the Jesus Healing Center Staff Housing! (We had a special TV program scheduled to air mid-January to raise money for the staff housing…we have since “canceled the TV program,” because the day before Christmas, the Lord supplied the money!!)

We needed $70,000 to purchase a huge generator (300 kW) to run the new clinic and other things. The Lord supplied the money the day before Christmas! Everything we have needed for the inside of the clinic, the examination tables, and many, many other items, have been supplied!

Only one thing is lacking “dental equipment for our dental room” inside the clinic. The Lord will provide! Good teeth promote good health.

The Lord supplied the finances so we could lay pavers on the road inside of Love A Child to keep the dust down. The dust is not healthy for the people coming to the Jesus Healing Center and the mothers coming to the new Birthing Center. Very soon, “1000 sweet babies” will have been born at the new Birthing Center!

We have expanded the gas station at the “Gwo Mache Mirak,” and Farmer John expanded the butcher shop, enlarged with more chickens “poule mirak.” The marketplace is a sustainability project, “helping Haitians to help themselves.”

The Lord blessed the Agriculture Training Program, teaching Haitians how to grow their crops more productively. The Lord has blessed all of our Haitian schools that the children may have a Christian education.

January 12th is our Jesus Healing Center dedication. Thank you, partners, and friends! On January 18th, is our Malnutrition Center dedication. Thank you, Joyce Meyer Ministriesβ€”Hand of Hope, and so much more…

The greatest of all of these, many Haitians came to know Jesus Christ.

Thank you, we are ending the year of 2020 strong. We want to wish you a happy New Year. The best is yet to come!!

Soon we will be sharing with you our future plans for 2021…
Missionaries Bobby and Sherry Burnette
We love you…

P.S.
This is so important…God has given us the best staff and the best leaders, Rad and Sandra Hazelip (CEO and Assistant CEO), who run everything for us in Fort Myers, Florida, while we are in Haiti. No matter what job they do, all our other staff workers do it “with excellence!!” There is no job, “too big” or “too small!” Without them, and of course, all our wonderful workers in Haiti, Love A Child would not have been able to accomplish these things. We give all the glory and praise to God!
