Haiti has the highest maternal mortality in the Americas and higher than much of Africa, including Sudan and Rwanda. During the last several years, we have seen so many mothers from the mountains come to our Jesus Healing Center to see one of our doctors about a health issue, only to have their baby right in the yard or outside of the gate! With nowhere else to turn, these would-be mothers would have been left to bear their childbirth alone.

Bobby and I for years have felt led by the Lord to build a Birthing Center that would provide the compassionate and quality care these poor mothers need to deliver healthy babies. And, today, thanks to your prayers, love, and support, the Birthing Center is now a reality! We would like to thank Joleen Darragh at Southview Studios who completed the rendering and the layout of the Birthing Center. Thank you for all of your hard work in helping to get the ball rolling on this wonderful project for the poor mothers in Haiti.
