Kan Espwa Ayiti – Camp Hope Haiti

“And thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thine heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy might. And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up.”

— Deuteronomy 6:5-7

We pray that all the children living at Love A Child Children’s Home will realize their dreams and reach their full potential by following God’s will.

Christian worship and education are top priorities at our Love A Child Children’s Home, with time allotted for prayers and lesson completion. Even on summer vacation, we take the opportunity to teach our children about the love of Jesus, with our most exciting event, Kan Espwa Ayiti – (Camp Hope) Haiti.

Getting ready for Camp Hope.

Camp Hope

Debbie Click and her team from the States came to our Love A Child Children’s Home to conduct Camp Hope for the children. This wonderful camp teaches Bible Scriptures, life lessons and so much more to our children!!! This summer camp was a life-changing experience! They did this last summer, and then, they came back for their second camp for the children! Camp Hope is sponsored by the Click Family Foundation!

We had an exciting week with this wonderful team! They spent the days with the kids in our children’s home doing all kinds of activities! It was a thrilling and fun-filled time, our children and all of us just love this team. Their first activity was decorating the children’s home, and the kids were going nuts!

Our kids had the time of their lives! They decorated the entire children’s home, and they were all hyped up as they started the first day of Camp Hope.

The kids were split up into teams and they had a soccer tournament and devotions. There was a dance team and lots of praise and worship going around! We were so blessed by the Click Family Foundation and all the volunteers they brought here! Our kids had so much fun!

The last day of Camp Hope was another great day, though we were a little sad that it was coming to an end. This camp was such a wonderful experience for our Love A Child children.

We have had an amazing week, one that our children will never forget! We spent the mornings playing different games, worshiping, doing Bible quizzes and so much more! We could not have asked for a better group to be here! We would like to thank the Click Family Foundation for all they do for our children and the country of Haiti! What a fantastic team!

We ended the week with a talent show! These kids LOVE performing! Some of the children sang, while others danced. A couple of them played the drums and keyboard. It was a great evening for everyone!

We were so blessed by the Click Family Foundation and all their volunteers! This great team goes where kids have no opportunity to experience the joy of a kid’s camp. They bring the Gospel to life and present it to children in a way they understand. It isn’t about the games or the music or the puppets or the coloring books. It is about telling them of a Savior who loves them and gave His life for them.
