People always ask us, “Bobby and Sherry, why are you still in Haiti when it is becoming more dangerous every day?” It is an easy question to answer, although many will not understand. Jesus said, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” (Matthew 5:16)
If all the missionaries would leave Haiti, there would be more darkness. This is the perfect time to be in Haiti, to share the Gospel, to share the love of God, in the midst of great darkness, to feed the hungry, to make sure the doors of our clinic are open to the sick, that our Birthing Center stays open 24/7, that the starving and malnourished children in our Malnutrition Clinic are rescued from the death of starvation, and that the light of the Gospel of God’s love still shines in the bad times, as well as the good times. Our “boots are on the ground,” and “our hands are on the plough.” Thank you, Partners, for your love and prayers.
