Feeding hungry children: 8-28-2015 11:30 AM

Bobby always says, “Love is Something You Do.” When we see the poor, we must do something more than “pray” or “talk.” We must do something more for these children who are being cared for by our friend Juanito Genada. He receives food from us each month to feed these children, simply because our partners “did something” for love! God bless you. Bobby and Sherry

Word from the Mission Field – 08-28-15

“Peace I leave with you, my peace I give unto you: not as the world giveth, give I unto you. Let not your heart be troubled, neither let it be afraid.” John 14:27 – When we turn the news on each day, what awful things we hear…hate, anger, people being shot, wars, terrorist, fear and more. Thank you Lord for your peace. Bobby

Birthing Kits Needed – 08-27-15

We see many pregnant women at our Malnutrition Clinic each month, and we are in desperate need of “Birthing Kits.” Once the “expectant mothers” are in our program, they return for health classes, and vaccinations for their babies. They won’t be faithful unless we can offer them a “Birthing Kit,” which includes these items:

One newborn outfit (a “onesie” and stocking hat)
Feminine pads and two receiving blankets
Small plastic basin and a bar of soap
Single-edged razor blade
Two 10” long pieces 1/16” cotton cord
Disposable newborn diapers and one cloth diaper
Absorbent under pads

We need about 100 birthing kits a month. This is a great project for church groups. Please send items to:

Word from the Mission Field – 08-27-15

I woke up around 4 AM with this scripture burning within my heart. I feel so led of the Holy Spirit to give this Word to you today. “When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee.” Isaiah 43:2 – Praise the Lord! Malnutrition Center sees more starving babies: 8-26-2015 3:30 PM

This baby was brought to our Malnutrition Center today. She is two-months-old and only weighs four pounds! Her grandmother brought her to us because her mother is physically handicapped and cannot walk. The baby was so weak, she could hardly cry. Barbara MacMannis, our Medical Administrator, said that we would be seeing a lot more of these babies because food and water are so scarce due to our drought. Mothers simply cannot make enough milk for their babies. We face these problems every day here in Haiti—we need God’s help. God bless all our partners! Sherry

Word from the Mission Field – 08-26-15

Jesus was crucified on the cross for our sins. (Matthew 27:35) These pictures of the cross from last evening touched Sherry and me so much. Haitians from all over the country have been coming to sing, pray and praise God by the cross way up on the mountain of Peyi Pouri. You can see the cross from our Love A Child Orphanage, which is many miles away. Many villages can see the cross from miles away. The hearts of the people are stirred. Thank you David George and your partners for the shining cross on the mountaintop. Thank you Jesus for dying on the cross for our sins. Bobby and Sherry
