Sharing our Food: 8-25-2015 10:00 AM
It is such a blessing to feed the hungry. God blesses those who “deal their bread to the poor.” Each month, we share our food with 70 other organizations. Our partners sponsor this food to come from the States to Fond Parisien, Haiti and from there, it “goes all over Haiti” to good organizations like Mission Haiti Helping Kids led by Diddi Washington! You are welcome to join one of our Food Distribution teams. Contact Shar at: 239-210-6107. God bless you, Sherry
Word from the Mission Field – 08-25-15
“Whoso stoppeth his ears at the cry of the poor, he also shall cry himself, but shall not be heard.” Proverbs 21:13 – These four children lost their mother and father, and now they live with their grandma in the mountains of Haiti. For those of you who are our partners, wait until you hear this story, it is unbelievable. We cannot shut our ears to the cry of the poor, as the rich man did in Luke 16. Keep your eyes and heart open for God to reveal those you should help each day. God bless you. Sherry
Lomene – 08-24-15
You may remember Lomene. Her mother died when she was very young, and Lomene’s father took her to live with his other wife who had six children. This woman was very mean. She made Lomene cook, tend to the children, wash clothes and haul water. Lomene was a Restavec (slave child) and did all the chores. She did not go to school, she never played, and she was very sad. When we saw her living conditions and met the “lady” of the house, we knew that Lomene could not stay there any longer. We rescued her and took Lomene home to meet her brothers and sisters. Now look at this changed life! Thank you partners for making a difference! God bless you. Bobby and Sherry
Solar Cross Update – 08-24-15
Some of you have asked to see a picture of the cross at night all lit up, and we are working on this. We hope to have a picture up by tomorrow or the next day. All the Haitians are so excited! What a witness for Christ! Let your light shine for Jesus today! Bobby
P. S. Our Team Host Carlos emailed David George to let him know that it rained last night, but he was still able to see the shining cross at our Love A Child Village. This is a very long distance from where the cross stands high on the mountain in Peyi Pouri.

“Giving thanks always for all things unto God and the Father in the name of our Lord Jesus Christ.” Ephesians 5:20 – I don’t know about you, but I haven’t quite mastered thanking God for all things, but I’m working on it. Bobby
Youth Services: 8-23-2015 8:30 PM
We are so proud of our youth at Love A Child! They love to have services and many of them are very talented, as they play musical instruments, sing in choirs, do skits, dances and much more. These are just a few of the pictures from our Youth Service. Please remember our children in your prayers. We believe God will provide all their needs for universities and education! Thank you partners, Sherry
Cross to light up the night: 8-23-2015 4:00 PM
People have been asking if they can see the cross in Peyi Pouri lit up at night. We will take a picture of the cross at night this week and post it on Facebook. The Haitians love the cross!! Bobby
Dasimene, a Poor Haitian Child: 8-23-2015 11:00 AM
This is Dasimene. This poor little Haitian girl has never known anything but work, filth and hunger. She has never had a doll or hair ribbons, and she has never gone to school. There has never been anything to make her laugh. She has only known a world of “hunger and hard work.” She is one of the children from Sa-pa-te, who make “mud cookies” to sell for thousands of Haitian children to eat when they are hungry. Every child deserves at least one hot meal each day, which they can depend on. “Let your heart be broken with the things that break the heart of God.” Sherry
Lighted Cross in Peyi Pouri: 8-23-2015 9:30 AM
Yesterday, when the cross went up in Peyi Pouri, all the Haitians were talking about the white glow behind the cross in the sky. People could see it from many miles away! Praise the Lord! David George and I went out three or four times during the night on our orphanage balcony to see the beautiful cross lights. GPL Solar did a great job choosing the right solar lighting. All the Haitians are talking about the cross in the middle of a voodoo area! What a witness for Christ! The children are so excited. David George, who sponsored the cross, is on cloud nine!! Bobby
