Our little boys love to work... picking up the trash, sweeping, cleaning their rooms, etc. But, today, Camey, one of the older men who are over the boys, decided he would let the little boys, Samuel, Noah, Kenzy, and Joshua, "kill the bugs!" Ha! It was so funny! These little guys "went to town" and...
Today in Haiti, our Love A Child workers delivered a truck full of medical hospital supplies and hazard uniforms to L'opital Coseco (Hospital Coseco). They were donated to us by World Vision, and we are happy to share with others. We will be distributing to other hospitals as soon as the next medical container comes....
Good news, PTL! We just received word that we have permission from the Haitian government to fly into Haiti tomorrow on a private flight. The airport in Port-au-Prince is closed to all international airlines. Everyone in Haiti is so happy, especially our children. We are so happy! We will have a wonderful week together feeding...
In the midst of all that's going on in Haiti, COVID-19 virus, political uprisings, the "Papaya Gang," and all of the sad things that are happening in the States, riots, etc., somehow the Lord gives us peace in the middle of chaos. In Haiti, we gave beautiful new dresses, food, toys, and other items to...
DON'T GIVE UP! “Therefore, my beloved brethren, be ye stedfast, unmoveable, always abounding in the work of the Lord, forasmuch as ye know that your labour is not in vain in the Lord.” 1 Corinthians 15:58 Stedfast, unmoveable, are the two keywords here. Sometimes we all feel like just giving up. We must keep our eyes on Jesus. Keep going forward....
Fabienne is our 21-year-old sweetheart! She came to us when she was about six years old. Her mother was working for us and we had to let her go. She “left” Fabienne, so we have raised her. As far as she is concerned, her “Poppie Bobby” is the only father she has ever known. Fabienne...
We received word today by telephone, it looks like we will be leaving for Haiti on Thursday. Please pray, it's looking good. Prayer works! Today we are paying for another container of rice being bought in Haiti. Thank you to everyone who has helped. We have two more containers of Feed My Starving Children meals...
Recently, we have had a lot of our children in Haiti come down with symptoms of COVID-19. They were tested and quarantined, but the tests have not come back yet. Mr. Bellevue, the administrator of Gwo Mache Mirak (Grand Miracle Market), heard about the children. He made a special “tea” and took a “double portion”...
Abigail's Prayer… David had been running from Saul for quite a long time. He had taken his 400 brave men into the wilderness with him. They were hiding from King Saul. David heard that a man named, "Nabal," (a wicked, mean, rich man) was sheering his sheep nearby, and Nabal owed David a favor. David...
Georges... My favorite thing about him is his sweetness, his shyness, and his great smile. He is one of the hardest-working kids at our Love A Child Children's Home. Years ago, I went to a large pharmacy in Port-au-Prince to buy medicine. The ladies behind the counter knew me and knew that we had an...
